The VAR Lab team, comprised of Marcus Jacobs and Dr. Chris Shelton, is thrilled to have showcased their Virtual Hike of the Wintergreen Gorge project in collaboration with Behrend’s Alumni Relations Director and Sustainability Coordinator, as a part of Penn State’s annual We Are alumni event. This event is traditionally held at the University Park campus in State College, PA. However, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the event was hosted virtually in 2021, providing an equitable opportunity for commonwealth campuses to participate in hosting events without being hindered by the distance from State College.
The presentation was viewed live by 200 alumni, who had the chance to experience the VAR Lab’s project and learn about Behrend’s sustainable development initiatives. Click here to view a full recording of the presentation.
