In Spring 2019, the second semester of my freshman year. I had the amazing opportunity to go on the Black School of Business’ annual business trip. That year, the destination was New York City. We had the chance to visit many companies while there; including, Bank of America, DoorDash, and Bloomberg. Also, we were able to sightsee during the evenings, so I could visit the top of the Empire State Building and the One World Trade Center, attend a show at the Opera House, and check out Times Square. Unfortunately, the Spring 2020 trip to Chicago had to be canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Black School of Business was unable to schedule another trip in 2021 and 2022, which would have been my last chance during my Undergraduate years to participate.
I am blessed to have had the opportunity even just once. I hope that Behrend students in the future will get the opportunity to go on the trip again and multiple times!
