In Spring 2020, the VAR Lab collaborated with the Hagen History Center to produce five interactive exhibits. I was the Project Manager on this endeavor, and I led a team of three others.

  1. Exhibit 3.01 – Explore an 1890s Household
  2. Exhibit 3.02 – Immigrant Neighborhoods
  3. Exhibit 3.03 – Explore a 1950s Household
  4. Standalone Walkthrough – The White House @ Battles Memorial Museum
  5. Perry Exhibit – Remastered

Summary of what was included in the above exhibits:

  • Two Interactive Recipes with twenty steps each for audience interaction.
  • Ten newly created 3D models of historically relevant artifacts in the Hagen History Center’s archive.
  • A standalone virtual tour consisting of thirty-five 3D 360° panoramas of the Battles Memorial Museum.
  • A total of eleven AR-accessible 3D models that can be pulled up on a patron’s phone to visually interact within the museum space.
  • Development of an interactive map interface for the Immigrant neighborhoods exhibit.
  • Reimagining and remastering the original Perry Telescope exhibit the VAR Lab completed in 2021 *LINK*.
