I am pleased to announce that I, along with Dr. Chris Shelton and Jasper Sachsenmeier, MLitt, were featured on the cover of Behrend’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences Fall 2021 Newsletter. View the Magazine Digitally Here
The school wanted the front cover to prominently highlight the technology that we engage with in the VAR Lab. So, we featured some VR (Virtual Reality) headsets, a Lidar Scanner, a 360 camera, and more.
Included in the newsletter are several articles about our ongoing work.
These include:
- An article spotlighting my Virtual Hike of the Wintergreen Gorge project.
- A full two-page article about the Lab’s work with the Hagen History Center on the Perry Telescope Exhibit, and
- An article about Serenity Now, a mental health app developed in conjunction with the VAR Lab. *I was not involved in this project directly.
It was a pleasure being a part of the photo shoot and getting the front cover position!
