As part of my MGMT 471W Strategic Management and Business Policy course, taken in Spring 2022, I had the opportunity to become CEO of our team and lead the team of three other students through the Capsim program. Capsim is a business simulation that simulates business operations and decision-making over the course of eight decision periods. Our company metrics relative to our competition improved consistently as we finetuned our strategy.
Overall, our team placed 1st in the class with five other teams. We also placed in the top 10% of teams competing globally, out of several hundred other teams competing during that period.
