On April 12, 2022, the VAR Lab team hosted the Council of Fellows meeting in our new space in Merwin 214/215. This meeting was particularly unique because it was the first in-person meeting on the Behrend campus for the Council since before the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020.
I was a presenter for a segment of our twenty-minute timeslot. My topic focused on the establishment of the VAR Studios strategic unit of the VAR Lab. I outlined the unit’s mission and then showcased the equipment and studio spaces that make the work possible. To conclude, I outlined our plans moving forward.
Overall, the reception was phenomenal! The Council expressed a great deal of interest in the work that we showcased in our presentation. We are thankful for the opportunity to have hosted this event.
